The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (“NSIA”) is a corporate body established by the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (Establishment, etc.) Act 2011. Its mandate is to manage funds in excess of budgeted hydrocarbon revenues thereby playing a leading role in driving sustained economic development for the benefit of all Nigerians through building a savings base for the Nigerian people, enhancing the development of Nigeria’s infrastructure and providing stabilisation support in times of economic stress. NSIA is organised to achieve these goals by operating three mandate funds: the Stabilisation Fund, the Future Generations Fund and the Nigeria Infrastructure Fund.

The Positions Required and the Qualifications:
1.) Portfolio Manager, Nigeria Infrastructure Fund

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
Qualifications are:
- A degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering or any Business-related discipline
- Post-graduate degree(s)
- Relevant professional qualifications.
Experience:
These are;
- At least twelve (12) years’ experience in infrastructure and project management, preferably in a leading investment bank, International Finance Institution/Development Finance Institution or a similar institution.
- Good knowledge of infrastructure sector trends (globally and within the Nigerian context),
- Practical experience in valuation, structuring, portfolio management and business strategy.
- Again, hands on experience in project finance and management of infrastructure funds.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modelling and structuring of infrastructure deals.
- Expertise in negotiating complex transactions.
Attributes:
This include;
- Strong business acumen, maturity and tact,
- Ability to relate with senior management of financial institutions and other stakeholders.
- Track record of successful investing.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards,

2.) Senior Legal Officer

Qualification:
- A good first degree in Law (L.L.B. and B.L.) and qualified to practice in Nigeria. Relevant professional qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification(s) will be an advantage.
Experience:
This will include;
- Not less than ten (10) years relevant experience, four (4) of which must have been at a strategic management level.
Attributes:
This will include;
- Perfect knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian legal system.
- Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Political savvy, maturity and tact, including the ability to relate with different levels of authority within the legal sphere.

3.) Secretary to the Authority

Qualifications:
- A first degree in Law (L.L.B. and B.L.)
- Post-graduate qualification(s).
- Possession of ICSAN will be an advantage.
Experience:
- Not less than twelve (12) years company secretarial experience, five (5) of which must be as a Company Secretary.
- Good knowledge of leading practices in secretariat services and corporate governance.
Attributes: Will include –
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian legal system.
- Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.

4.) Head, Infrastructure Risk Management

- A degree in Finance, or any Business-related discipline
- Postgraduate qualification(s);
- Possession of CFA and other such professional will be an advantage.
Experience:
- Not less than twelve (12) years’ experience in infrastructure and project management, preferably in a leading investment bank, International Finance Institution/Development Finance Institution or a similar institution.
- Credit Risk experience with emphasis/exposure to Project Finance/Infrastructure projects.
- Ability to think strategically and holistically and to appreciate the impact of various policies, issues and solutions.
- Need to be strong with financial modelling tools, techniques and analysis
- Political and business savvy, maturity and tact, including ability to relate and network at different levels of authority.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, high level of integrity.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

5.) Officer, Human Resources
