WAEC GCE Exam form  this year has long been out. This exam is commonly known as external/private candidates examination. If you are  interested in sitting for this exam, you still have the opportunity of registering before the closing date. I’m going to direct you on how to bit this time  by biting the registration procedure.  
The first thing you should note is that the registration is online. To avoid unnecessary mistakes, the West African Examinations Council released a registration guideline for candidates. This guideline must be strictly adhered to.

First smart move:  Download a blank registration form. Then read through it. This will make you  to avoid unnecessary mistakes.

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE 2017 WAEC GCE.

Get your registration PIN and information VCD by paying a registration fee of 
Thirteen Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty Naira only (N13,950) at branches of any of the following banks or any accredited agent. 
In addition, you will be required to pay Five Hundred Naira (N500.00) commission to the banks/accredited agents. This brings the total to N14,450.00 ( fourteen  thousand, four hundred and fifty Naiara only).

REGISTRATION:

Armed with your PIN and information VCD , and having downloaded before hand and gone through the application form, you can now move faster to bit the time.
You must conclude registration within two weeks of first access to the website during the registration period. This is the standard but with what we have done already , you don’t need two weeks to fill this form. I think a week will be enough for you. 
You must ensure  that your names, gender, passport photographs, dates of birth and subjects are correct. 
After filling the form, print the admission notice/photo card as evidence of successful registration. This will serve as your photo card during the examination.
 The result checker PIN will also be on the photo card. Only Digital Personal Scanner should be used for fingerprint registration.
Congratulations, you are done. Now its time to master the exam time table and be ready for the exams.

SPECIAL CANDIDATES: 

Candidates With Disabilities And Impairment:
If you have one  disability/impairment or the other you will still register online like other candidates but you must clearly state your type of  disability /impairment e.g blind, low vision, spastic speech, etc.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • You must take time to  view the Information VCD before you register for the examination.
  • You should note that examination fees are not refundable.
  • You should print the examination Timetable at the completion of your registration.
  • Entries must be uploaded with good quality passport size photographs, not “wait and get” photographs. The background of such photographs MUST NOT BE BLUE OR RED. The size should be 275 by 314 pixels. 
  • Entries with unacceptable passport photographs will be rejected.
  • You should study the Regulations and Syllabuses as well as the Timetable for the examination which you can download from WAEC’s website (www.waeconline.org.ng) using your registration PIN.
  • You must as well as other candidates go to the examination halls in mufti and without arms. 
  • No professional uniform of any kind will be allowed into the examination hall.
  • Do not do multiple registration
  • Do not sit your exam in more than one centre, if you do your entire results will be cancelled.
  • Smoking is not allowed in the examination hall.
  • Do not enter the examination hall with any  mobile phone and /or electronic or communication gadgets  whether life or dead, if you do your entire result will be cancelled.
  • You must ensure that your entries are correctly uploaded, as the Council will not be held responsible for your errors.
  •  No request for corrections will be entertained on any information which you voluntarily gave at the point of registration as soon as the examination commences.
  • You must come into the examination hall with your original photo cards.
  • If you engage in any form of examination malpractice  you  will not only have your results cancelled but may be prosecuted.
  • You have to be in your examination centre at least one hour before the exam starts.

  WAEC GCE EXAM REGISTRATION PERIOD.

The normal registration period is from Friday, April 28 to Friday, July 28, 2017. After  obtaining the registration PIN, you should log on to www.waeconline.org.ng for registration. You should also note that the registration procedure has been designed to accommodate bio-metric features that will be used for validation at the examination centres.
