As a matter of fact, The ITF-NECA Technical Skills Development Project (TSDP) is a joint initiative by: (a) the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and (b) Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA). Furthermore, it’s designed to promote the availability of middle-level manpower with the appropriate Technical and Vocational Skills. So, this is to meet the identified needs of industries in Nigeria.
Consequently, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the 2019 Technical and Vocational Skills Training Programme.
Location: Lagos – Industrial Skills Training Centre, Ikeja.
Duration: 12 Month
ITF & NECA Technical and Vocational Skills Training Programme 2019 – Details
This is a One-year Technical Skills Training Programme in the following areas:
- Electrical / Electronic Maintenance
- Mechanical Maintenance and Mach ng
- Automobile/Autotronics Works
- Instrumentation and Process Control
- Welding and Metal Fabrication Works
- Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Works
- Information and Communication Technology
Objectives
Furthermore, this programme aims at training and equipping youths with employable and entrepreneurial skills in the areas mentioned. Therefore, it will promote Public-Private Sector Model in Vocational and Technical Skills Training.
Eligibility Requirements:
However, to participate, you must be between 18-30years of age. In addition, you must possess any of the following qualifications:
- Senior Secondary School Certificate
- National Technical Certificate in any of the above trade areas
- National Diploma Certificate
Test Date
27th August, 2019. Time: 8:00am
Interview Date
28th August, 2019. Time: 8:00am

23rd August, 2019.

Interested and qualified candidates should submit:
- A hand written Application,
- two (2) recent passport photographs

Notes:
Overall, you are expected to come for a test with the originals of your certificate (including birth certificate). You are also required to make arrangements for your transportation and accommodation. Successful candidates re eligible for an oral interview
But, when you are admitted you will enjoy free tuition, lunch and a monthly stipend throughout the duration of the programme. The programme is entirely non-residential. So, you will be responsible for your accommodation throughout the duration of the programme.
